If you would like to study in a long-distance law programme of international renown, this is the programme that you have been looking for! The University of London has had its LLB programme in place since the late 1800s. The long-distance learners programme has been a staple of university life for the last 80 years. This degree is no slouch degree and it will demand you to exercise your intellect, creativity, and self-motivation.

Before you enrol, however, make sure to explore the requirements of the locale where you desire to practice law, as some places do not accept online programmes. You do not want to spend your time and money only to find out that it is not useful where you wanted it.

The programme in London will connect you to classmates around the world and offer a grand flexibility that is not available elsewhere. You are allowed between 3 and 8 years to complete the LLB degree. This is an unprecedented amount of time, as many long-distance law programmes require a 1-3 year cycle for your programme of study. For the LLB, the fees range from roughly £2,000 to £4,000, depending on your tract and point of entry. IT is therefore, not only flexible, but also affordable.

As a graduate of the University of London LLB programme, you will join an elite membership of alumni around the world who belong to a prestigious group. The graduates from the programme are known as coming from the industry’s gold standard school.

You will, as a student, have access to unlimited online resources, including a virtual learning environment wherein you can access a number of valuable tools to assist you in your education and programme. Your resources will include subject guides, discussion forums made up of your colleagues, online resources for research and many other helpful aids.

The online library that you will have access to is especially extraordinary, as it is comprised of many programmes, including JSTOR, Justis.com, and LexisNexis. The numerous libraries are easy to search from the convenience of your home or workplace.

Should you choose to enrol in the programme, know that you will further develop many of your interpersonal and communication skills. Expect to hone your critical thinking skills and exercise your memory as you learn the many trials and jurisdictional practices.

Four weekends every year, you will have the opportunity to gather with classmates at the University in Londwon, the University of Cambridge, and SPACE in Hong Kong. These courses offer tuition by very well-qualified law instructors. This will also provide you with an opportunity to meet your online classmates and learn from their experiences and stories.

If you are considering pursuing an LLB long-distance, contact the University of London today for more information. You’ll be glad to be a member of this elite group when you graduate with your LLB. The tuition will be remarkable and the programme unrivaled by any other. Check out the web site today before you do another thing! You won’t be disappointed.

    Hi,

I'm an American thinking of attending the external online bachelors of laws program. However, I looked at the classes we take and I don't see "legal writing". How are we suppose to learn how to write if we don't take a course in legal writing? We'll fail the bars. Also, I'm concerned that the laws are different in the UK than America and I won't be able to pass the bar. Any Americans going to the online University of London that care to discuss?

Legal principles and legal reasoning are simply arguments, the same all over the world, and you need them to interpret all local laws. You need these ingredients and you get them either from the books (of legal scholars) or case laws (judges' decisions), for legal writing. You learn how to find them when you take a course in legal studies or Law.

Legal writing, I supposed, you will get some of it by the time you graduate and you'll get more of it when you practise. You see by then, you'll know how to lie and get well paid for it. You write to win; not to expose the truth. And that's what we called, you'll come to realise is "legal writing".

To answer your question, it is the same all over the world.

Join legal studies and welcome to the world of legal writing.

I wonder when and where are those study weekends? I just got my place in UOL, so most likely the information hasn't reached me yet.
