If a person works as an Independent Contractor, are they required to submit identification and proof that they can legally work in your country? Is a person who utilizes the services of an illegal worker subject to penalty?

American immigration laws are not very much enforced to start with, Its not that they need new laws, all they need is to enforce the laws that are already in the books. Its a widely known fact that The united states is dependent on the cheap labor that is being generated by immigrants, who come out here & accept lower wages & labor standards, government officials always look the other way on this issue, because there is always somebody out there making a profit, who is also making immense political contributions on the side. Its been this way for lots of years, & it wont alter anytime soon..
