Case 1: - Sorry for putting my case here. Edited

Hi all, I'm Lim and I just found out this website "lawstudent forum" that help us "weaker" student, and I just started my law course few weeks ago and I having a problem here when doing my tutorial. In this case, I think it is a Invitation to treat after I refer to the definition of offer and ITT. I already use the Partridge v Crittenden case ( I do not know it correct or not) to apply in it. I need few cases that can apply to my case above or anything else I could write to make my argument more interesting and detailed? because my lecturer request me to write a 2-3 page to explain the situation above. Any detail is welcome..Thank you.

    Hi FD,

Welcome to LSF and thanks for joining!
Generally speaking we prefer people not copy/pasting their homework assignment, but rather ask and discuss the elements of law your having trouble with, in this case ITT vs Offer, a very well discussed topic on here.

I am going to invite you look at the following links

    http://www.lawstudentforum.co.uk/threads/offer-or-invitation-to-treat.11/#post-45

    http://www.lawstudentforum.co.uk/threads/offer-or-iinvitation-to-treat.19139/#post-29708

Either use this thread to continue your search or add to the others above, in any case spread the word!
What would be really cool (and can be done anonymous) is if you can print some LSF flyers and post them on your law schools bulletin board!

Thank you for your remind of not copy and paste the homework here, will try to introduce this website to my college and thanks for your quick reply. I just go through the link that you gave me above. I notice that there are similar but how I going to explain the different product when he went to the shop? Besides, I want try to apply the Harris v Nickerson case, but the case seems different to mine (its about auction for H v Nickerson) , can I use it to argue? Sorry for too much question because I am really a poor law student..

Go to UOL past exam papers, cut and paste a similar question, and raise your view and we shall try best to comment on your view

    Hi,
As Molineux said or just explain the situation in your own words!

Please don't say sorry, this forum is here for you and all others who feel stuck! I think all law students feel this way, no matter how smart as it forces you to try and think about things differently, welcome to reading law!

Ok, thanks for your replies. As I could not find a similar case at UOL or I overlook it.. I will just simplified my case here.

I encounter a problem here is about, example " A put an advertisement sell a bike that cost around 100 or nearer price and the actual price is 200" B wants to buy it but A say it was sold out but he has another bike that cost 150"

What I already wrote in my paper is that, I write down the issues first, whether it is an offer or ITT and I define the offer and ITT base on what I have learned and applying the case Partridge v Crittenden to show that this advertisement is an ITT, and I add in Harrison v Nickerson case (don't know correct or not) after that I stuck at here, unable to continue write. Any more case or information that I can add in to add more marks?
