    Default NGOS

Is there a name for the type of law that deals specifically with NGOS as opposed to MNCs or other international organizations/businesses. I've just been learning about NGOs, so I was curious to see what else I could find.

There are mostly unincorporated associations - see Trusts laws.

Thanks! I'll look into Trust laws. I wasn't aware that they were mostly unincorporated associations. I didn't know that. Helpful information to know. Is there any other type of law that would apply?

I would think NGO's would fall under a sector of international law as well. I know quite a few people who have started NGO's in countries foreign to their own so international law certainly does apply. Depending on the type of NGO you are seeking to start or involve yourself with, if it deals with human rights, environmental protection, etc. human rights law and environmental law may apply as well.

Definitely, NGO's comes under the international law because most of the NGO's have their world wide branches. In some countries, these come under the specific countries rule where NGO's have their own branches.
