Default OK the results are in

    Well,

I scored 35% for Contracts first coursework
    and 43% (pass) for ELM

    Shocking results, ............

For Contract I did include relevant cases, but failed to explain why those cases applied. I mistook email as being part of the postal rule and confused my tutor with some rant about exceptions to the postal rule.

    All in all, BAD!

ELM, 43% seems to be the average, lowest 10% highest 67%

My ratio was good, my legal issues was shockingly bad, material facts were OK.
All in all she said I wrote too much detail.

So, anyone else not shy to share..

Not really shocking for first timers.
One should not start applying and commenting on anything unless the issues have been identified which take fair amount of thinking.
    The structure never change - Issue> Laws> Application> Comments

    Wrong issue > Nonsense.

p.s Mike, you know this will happen the reason to set up law discussion forum to sharpen your ability to identify issue. learning the Law from the text book is the easy part.

40% Constitutional Law -- Professor said I didn't write enough.
49% ELM -- Got called out for using dates in the material facts.
53% Contract -- Good first effort -- I was told that I used relevant cases but didn't include some important [I]obitur[I] or another.

Satisfied but pulling up my proverbial socks...

I think, these results are really shocking results i.e below 50% . I think, 60 plus will be far more better than that.

Although I don't study at your Law school (where they seem to be really harsh!) I got

Criminal Law - 63% - Happy with that
Land Law - 58% - Unhappy - tried really hard for this and still can't make 60
Law of Restitution - 64% - Miracles do happen!
