Hi Zordani,
I'm studying in my garage!
My garage is in England and the course is the University of London LLB External Programme.
Right now I get to study two days a week, and the rest of my time is spent looking after my two children. Two days is nowhere near enough, and the kids are still tiny so most of the time when I sit down with a text book I just fall asleep...
For this reason I have not registered for exams this year - I'll hope to do first year exams in 2010, as long as I've had some sleep!
Simpliciter
I study in my room which has a sizable window with lots of sun coming in. I've not registered for a formal law programme yet. I'm currently researching law programmes but testing the waters with the DL mode taking courses from a local university in the PH. And I have to say, I'm drowning!

Heh, nice. I'm studying in my rented apartment, and get a lot of sun during the day. I have my studying table right at the window. It's cool.

Hi,
I study towards my JD title with an online law school in the US.
I can study by my own speed and mood; however, there is a small little guideline when turning in essays and my multiple-choice tests.
Otherwise my study location is from around the world with major home base Munich Germany.
Sheron
Well,
I just got into Nottingham Trent, 35 years old with 3 small kids and a business.
I will be 40 when I am done.. Heck, I need to start a new thread about this.. hold on!

Right now, I study on the bus, in the car. I have to follow through with my schedule so that I do not fall behind. I too am studying with a local university and hope to eventually transfer to Harvard Law School.

I am a Canadian living in Aberdeen studying the Graduate Law Program through the University of London. My first degree is in Psychology.
There are a few people that say they are drowing.... me too!! I find that I get completely lost and then when I start feeling the pressure to study, I practice avoidance behaviour.... vacuum, laundry, clean the bathrooms... anything but study! This, of course, doesn't help and actually adds to the stress, but read through all the posts here, there are some really helpful hints from other students.
I work(ed) full-time as a Business Development Manager and have just cut my hours back to 6 a day rather than 8 in an effort to spend more time with these books. But, funnily enough, all of a sudden I have some time to go to the gym and do other things... which I find I am doing (again, avoiding the studying). I'm not sure why I'm having a difficult time, but I am going to work on a schedule (tomorrow... tee hee) to try to give myself some structure.
My husband is very supportive and not demanding of my time at all in the evening so it would be really quite easy for me to lock myself in the study and get after it. I have great admiration for all of you who are doing this with jobs and/or kids ! I can't imagine....
Keep at it everyone! I'm glad you're all here !

We just added some new forums for law schools,
It would be really nice if you all helped getting some information in there,
Perhaps even going to admin and asking them if you can post some promo and information about your school on the site.
Talk soon!
